Executive Series Luncheon

Upcoming Executive Series Luncheons:

WHEN: May 25, 2010

WHERE: Governor's Club, Tallahassee

SPEAKER:  John Marks, Mayor of the City of Tallahassee

Topic: Florida’s cities face many challenges--including a sagging economy, fewer operating revenues and crippling unfunded state mandates.  The good news is that Florida’s cities serve as innovators finding solutions that respond to the unique needs of their own communities.  No two cities are alike, and what works for one city may not work for another.  The solutions to Florida’s problems begin and end with the ability of her cities to promote and preserve a high quality of life for her citizens.  To ensure continued success, Florida League of Cities President, John Marks, Mayor, City of Tallahassee, has put forth a set of principles that will guide Florida’s municipalities throughout the year.  President Marks will discuss his 5 point plan to help cities succeed.
